This course focuses on the practical aspects of analysing cells using leading-edge technologies relevant to a wide range of cell biology-based disciplines including immunology, infectious diseases, stem cells, cancer, and neuroscience. Technologies covered include live-cell fluorescent models, cell-sorting, microscopy/imaging, single cell multi-omics and other cell analysis tools. This course will provide students with practical and theoretical laboratory experience while enhancing specialist knowledge and techniques to focus on developing transferable skills applicable in several biomedical and biotechnology fields.
This course will aim to develop postgraduate students with the following attributes: disciplinary knowledge and practice, critical thinking, solution seeking, communication and engagement, and independence and integrity.
