Personal and team leadership is important for managing, leading and participating in effective projects. In this course, you will be introduced to concepts such as self and team leadership, adaptive leadership, wayfinding, and contemporary challenges for leadership within agile business contexts. Based on these concepts, you’ll also be introduced to reflective thinking, coaching skills and leadership strategies which provide practical tools and competencies to develop your own leadership approach.
The two core principles underpinning this course are 'leaders as learners' and 'leadership as adaptive'. In line with these principles, the course is designed to give you practical skills to continually learn both individually and as part of a group, and to lead yourself and others through complex modern business environments.
You will be guided through assessments which engage you in concepts and self-reflection and encourage you to apply what you are learning continuously to your own context and professional leadership challenges.
