Building upon foundations developed in pre-requisite courses, Advanced Entrepreneurship provides a context, develops and reinforces knowledge and skills including market research, needs assessment, market sizing, value propositions, customer acquisition, unit economics, business models and pitching to identify, develop and present an innovative entrepreneurial opportunity that could be successfully scaled-up (either locally or internationally). Students work individually and in groups to consider innovative solutions, identify markets, and create strategies that maximise the impact a solution creates. The course embraces a range of innovative solutions, including traditional and social enterprises, technology, consumer goods and new models or approaches to societal and commercial challenges.
