Explores embodiment through Māori and Indigenous epistemologies. Students examine the notion of body, bodies as sites of whakapapa, memory, movement, representation, and relation across film, literature, digital media, performance, and visual culture. Bodies are considered alongside questions of presence, absence, omission, and futurity, critically examining how embodiment shapes knowledge, identity, and Māori worlds.
