This foundational knowledge about our nation will enable you to engage and participate as an informed and engaged citizen of Aotearoa New Zealand.This module also gives you an opportunity to develop an informed awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi and its place in New Zealand’s history, politics and society.
The understanding you can gain from this module could be helpful for careers in local and national government, communities, charitable organisations, companies or organisations that engage with iwi, as well as the wider public sector.
