In Italian language courses you can learn to speak, read and write Italian. You can study the language from beginners' to advanced levels.You can also study contemporary literature, film and drama, or medieval and Renaissance culture. Certain courses may be taken without studying the language.
You can take language courses at every level and learn to speak, read and write Italian. At Stages II and III there are opportunities to study at universities in Italy. We encourage you to study abroad.You can also study Italian society and culture, contemporary literature and film, and medieval and Renaissance literature and culture as modules in Comparative Literature and European Studies courses. While most of these courses involve the study of texts in English, provisions are made for coursework in Italian for students studying the language.
