Subject Overview

You can study a range of important political problems, from questions about multiculturalism, democracy and climate governance to human rights, conflict and public policy.

A major in Politics and International Relations will give you insight into the major strands of Politics and International Relations:

Often a single course will cover two or more of these different strands.

  • 45 points from Bachelor of Arts major in Politics and International Relations Stage III Courses, and
  • At least 15 points from Additional Courses from the Bachelor of Arts major in Politics and International Relations, and
  • 0 to 60 points from Courses from the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Schedules

Selected courses must include at least 75 points at level 300 or higher.
