In Construction Management, you will use skills from a range of disciplines to apply general management techniques to the construction industry. Courses in this subject will help you to understand how quality assurance, human resources and risk management fit into the life cycle of a modern construction project.

MEngSt - Master of Engineering Studies

You can complete a Master of Engineering Studies in Construction Management. Radical changes in the building industry have led to a demand for professionals with a new set of knowledge, skills and capabilities. This programme aims to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the construction management discipline so you are able to meet current industry demands

The subjects that will impart this understanding include Construction Supply Chain Management, Infrastructure Asset Management and Engineering Contracts for Projects. The aim is to build your confidence for working in an industry known for its dynamic, complex and unpredictable nature.

This programme offers the opportunity to acquire advanced skills and knowledge that are relevant to the industry on a global level. The abilities you develop will be useful at all stages of a construction project from feasibility and planning through to procurement and construction across both the public and private sectors.
